I  didn’t start out with the intention of doing a video about my son William’s experience with being a little monk. He was chosen from a large group to be one of nine for the TrueVision TV Show called The Little Monk.

We thought that this would be a wonderful experience for him. Even though he is only 7 years old, my wife and I both felt that he could do it.

Little did his Mom and I know to what expect when the show debuted. This being only the second year that True had done the show, I truthfully don’t think that they knew either.

Little Monk William was an instant hit from the start. His experiences and his popularity grew at the TV show went on. Without any help he developed his own Fan Club. A wonderful dedicated group that has showered him with attention and gifts and most of all a great deal of love.

This video is William’s story. His personal journey. The story grew within my mind when I asked William what he would miss the most. What he said touched my heart and never far from my thoughts.

Even as I kept busy at the National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas, I shared what was happening in Thailand by showing them online at TrueVision’s site (put in website). They were amazed and were genuinely impressed by the professionalism and scope of the very ambitious program. They were also all taken by William, his simplicity, his honesty, his love of others. All these traits came across.

On the plane flight going home, the story came together.

I hope that you enjoy it and I hope that you will continue to support him, his Mom and I certainly will.

This video was shot with the Sony TD10 and the GoPro Hero3 with a custom 3D Rig.
