Amazon developing 3D smartphone

Wall street Journal reported on Thursday about Amazon building a smartphone with 3D display. According to unnamed sources, the glasses-free 3D smartphone will feature retina-tracking software that will make images seem to float above the smartphone screen like a three-dimensional hologram, similar to that of Samsung’s Galaxy S4, complete at every viewing angle. Users will  be able to navigate through the phone by just using their eyes !

Along with the news of a smartphone with a 3D display, Amazon is also set to expand its range of gadgetry — an audio streaming device, and not one but two smartphones. One will feature the 3D technology while the other will be a low-end budget device, ideal for emerging markets and new smartphone users.

The company is reportedly trying to push beyond the limits of its Kindle Fire line of tablets to better compete with Google and Apple. Well, as we know, reports that Amazon is building a smartphone is now new. Hope to see something soon!
