China Receives International 3D Gold Award

The Most Beautiful 24 Hours of Chaoyang District,  China’s first 3D city documentary about urban construction  won the International 3D and Advanced Imaging Society (formerly International 3D Society) 2013 Gold Certificate Award. It showcases Chaoyang’s rapid development of Beijing’s Chaoyang District in an artistic way through its landmark architectures, fantastic landscapes, vibrant cultural traditions and international flavor, with the use of 3D technology. The documentary is set to make its debut in late May at the 3D theater inside the Chaoyang Museum of Urban Planning.

The Most Beautiful 24 Hours of Chaoyang District which is is 9 minutes long adopted the 3D4K digital film equipment. It records every second of sunbeam casting over Chaoyang district from dawn to dusk. The documentary presents the sun illuminating every corner of the land in the daytime. During the night, the district also shines with colors and lights. Numerous buildings spring up all over the district. People irritating with joy keep active all day long.

The  2013 Gold Certificate Award from the I3DS was evaluated by China Film and Television Academy. Almost 100 films competed for the award . at last , 25 films won the nomination.

The committee also invited 3D experts in the world like Tom Cosgrov, Jim Chabin and so on. I hope your film will soon enter Chinese market and win awards next year.
