Heard talk about the The Hobbit films being made in 3D?
Recently, it was declared that director Guillermo Del Toro would be launching the Hobbit series into a film, taking over the Lord of the Rings franchise from director Peter Jackson.
One recent rumor addressed by Del Toro in an interview was whether or not the film would be shot in 3-D. Del Toro quickly squashed the rumor stating that at present there was no discussion regarding shooting the film in 3-D. “I can safely say that, as of this moment, there are absolutely NO conversations about doing the HOBBIT films in 3D,” he said.
