NAB Update; Brainstorm announces 4K real-time 3D graphics

NAB 2013, booth SL10621. Brainstorm Multimedia announces 4K and QuadHD support for real-time 3D graphics and virtual sets across its whole product range. Brainstorm’s core eStudio render engine is format and resolution agnostic and can now take full advantage of the latest hardware developments in video I/O.

Brainstorm products have traditionally supported frame buffers bigger than HDTV via graphics cards for 3D real-time and virtual studio applications, allowing non-broadcast real-time applications such as corporate presentations or film pre-visualization. Brainstorm’s eStudio engine, regarded as the fastest in the industry, has always been renowned for its power and flexibility as well as its ability to create 4K, and beyond, real-time 3D graphics. Now with 4K video output support, this flexibility is enhanced to ensure compatibility with the latest audiovisual technology and formats, reinforcing the future-proof vision of the company.

According to Héctor Viguer, Brainstorm’s Engineering Director, “Brainstorm is synonymous with real-time 3D graphics, and our developments are focused on the creation of ever more complex, realistic and spectacular scenes. In doing so we continue to push the limits of the available 3D hardware technology. With 4K output support we are once more proving the excellence of our products in high end graphics and virtual studio applications”.

At NAB 2013 Brainstorm will also be demonstrating 4K real-time 3D graphics with FOR-A, Brainstorm’s partner, as the real-time 3D 4K content of its demo has been prepared in collaboration with Brainstorm.
