It looks as if we have a bit of a wait on our hands if we would like a look at the newest thinnest 3D Bezel TV in the world, Nepal beat us to it.

World´s thinnest 3D Bezel TV is now available in Nepal.

CG Electronics – the authorized distributor for LG products in Nepal — launched the TV amid a program in the capital on Friday. Nirvana Chaudhary, managing director of Chaudhary Group (CG) — the parent company CG Electronics, launched the 55 LM9600 model of LG 3D Bezel TV. Launching the set, Chaudhary said the world´s thinnest TV from LG is the result of the Korean electronics giant´s extensive research and development.

The 3D Bezel TV is available in two different models. The 55-inch 55 LM 9600 is available in the market from Friday itself, while the 84-inch 84 LM9600 will be available in the market only after two months. Equipped with the most advanced 3D technology, the Bezel 3D TV enables a smoother and more immersive 3D viewing.

“The 3D Bezel TV is just 1mm thick when the TV is switched off and looks 4.7 mm thick when it is on,” Ramesh Shrestha, general manager-sales of CG Electronics, said. “Offering extensive yet easy to use smart TV eco-system, the LG Bezel 3D TV is composed of an impressive cinema screen, Nano full LED display, SD to HD upscaler, wireless display, premium content services, over 1,200 smart TV apps globally and magic remote,” said Shrestha.

The new line-up also features dual play function for games and an expansive selection of 3D movies, sports and games, 3D sound zooming and 3D converter, among others.

Highlighting the features of the newly launched TV, Ankur Kumar Goyal, senior manager of CG Electronics, said LG has reduced the width of the bezel to almost zero bezel. “By doing so, physical obstructions have been removed to deliver ultimate simplicity and most immersive cinema 3D viewing experience,” said Goyal.

According to the company, the Nano full LED generates brighter, smoother and cleaner picture, resolution upscaler enhances the resolution of original content to a higher resolution from SD to HD, and the 3D converter helps convert 2D movies and TV shows into 3D.

The latest offering from LG comes with magic remote combined with functions like pointing, gesture and wheel that helps the user to operate the TV very easily. Likewise, the dual play function allows two users to play a game simultaneously by splitting the TV into two halves. The wireless display enables easy and quick connection between TV and personal computer (PC) with Intel´s WiDi Technology.

Customers who wish to own the world´s slimmest 3D TV can get the 55-inch TV at Rs 600,000 and 84-inch at Rs 2.6 million.
