Resistance really is futile. I love my iPad and I love my iPhone but my hand gets tired of cupping around the speaker in order to get decent sound. The best solution I have found by far is the Dream Cheeky Cube speaker.

The sturdy rubber like exterior makes it great to toss into your bag and go anywhere that you want quick effortless speaker set up for your smartphone tablet or laptop.
