Okay. So at CES this year, Panasonic teased us with its two new, more “affordable” 4K television sets.
However, as TechRadar says, “affordable is a relative term”.
Panasonic announced the smaller 58-inch AX800 4K set will start at $3,799. The larger? Even more baffling! 65-inch screen for $4,499! Many are looking to get their TVs using finance in order to make manageable payments that spread the cost over a period of time to help them overcome the high price point. Those with poor credit may struggle to do this, however. They’ll want to look at repairing their credit before they will be able to access a suitable finance plan. They may find a guide to credit repair helpful in getting their financial health back to a good place.
Despite the obnoxious price-point, users will get an incredible looking 4K Ultra HD screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The display panel is also backed up by a LED backlight featuring local dimming, which literally decreases the brightness in parts of the screen allowing it to produce deeper blacks.
For all your non-4K media, the screen also has an integrated image processor that up-scales everything from broadcasts to web pages into a quadruple HD picture.
Both television sets are available starting now.
