The need to wear specialized glasses for watching 3D content is perhaps the biggest disadvantage related to the 3D technology. It gets even more frustrating for people who already wear prescription glasses and need to either put on their contact lenses or wear another pair of 3D goggles over their spectacles to watch 3D content.
Good news is that Gunnar optiks, an eye-wear company has just announced release of its 3D glasses with customized prescription that can be be used to watch and play 3D related stuff. Now this is one useful 3D accessory!
