Just submitting is not enough, in fact, the chosen entries were not revealed until arriving at the conference.
One of the selected submissions was the 3D short, “The World’s Biggest Elephant Buffet“.

Shot by the production team of Al & Bee Caudullo and Ole Shell, the story showcases the events from the Surin Elephant Round Up, sponsored by the Tourist Authority of Thailand. The 3D content  was shot with the 3DGuy’s SuperHero 3D Camera System.

This remarkable 3D innovation is the brainchild of Caudullo, who designed and then built the system using his 3D printer. The system uses two GoPro Hero 3 Black or Hero 3+ Black cameras. Caudullo includes a Custom Trigger Cable and software that is used to trigger the synchronized recording of the two cameras.
The system has been on sale since December and Caudullo has reported “amazingly good” sales from all over the world. “Columbia, South America, Finland, Australia and the US are only a few of the varied locations. It has been a rewarding and fulfilling experience to create something that is being used itself to create more by filmmakers all over the globe.”
If you are interested in submitting 3D content for the next conference, please send an email to <SDAcinema@cmst.curtin.edu.au>.
