Each year, China is adding more 3D screens (2,748 our of 5,000 new screens installed in 2013 were 3D ready), more IMAX screens and continues to loosen up its import restrictions.
According to the IHS Report on Chinese Cinema, China is now the second largest market in the world by box office revenue, and the third largest by film production. With an average annual growth rate of 35.5 per cent each year, the Chinese film market is demanding more attention than ever before.
