As Charlie, himself might say,” Good Grief we are in 3D, Snoopy!”  The Peanuts gang has made it to the silver screen in glorious CGI and 3D. Released by 20th Century Fox, The Peanuts Movie delivers a faithful adaptation of Charles Shultz’s comic strip creations.

Blue Sky, The people who brought you Ice Age and Rio with Fox Studios deliver Charlie and the gang in eye-popping 3D. The script is credited to Shulz’s son Criag and he takes up his father’s mantle well with a thoughtful and sweet story of our beloved characters.

The plot line centers around lovestruck Charlie Brown’s attempts to win over the new red-haired girl who has arrived at school. Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Peppermint Patty and of course Woodstock are all there. And, of course, the movie wouldn’t be complete without Snoopy battling the Red Baron.

What might be the best seen comes at the beginning during the 20th Century Fox logo where Schroeder up here is playing along on his piano with the famous introduction music. Definitely something for the whole family to enjoy together and there is little enough of that out there today.
