Kickboxer Vengeance Stars Shine in Version 2.0

Jean-Claude Van Damme and Alain Moussi

Cast as version 2.0 of the original Kickboxer film that catapulted Jean-Claude Van Damme to international stardom, the remake Kickboxer Vengeance brings the Muscles From Brussels back to his roots. Directed by John Stockwell and screenplay scripted by Dimitri Logothetis and Jim McGrath, Kickboxer Vengeance stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as the mentor of the lead character played be Alain Moussi. Moussi, X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013) and Pacific Rim (2013).

Pictured here, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Alain Moussi show how much they enjoyed working together. On set in Thailand, the film uses some of the same locations as the original. Tong Po is played by Dave Bautista, who is riding high after Guardians of the Galaxy. The cast also includes Darren Shahlavi,  Gina Carano, Sara Malakul Lane, Georges St-Pierre, Sam Medina, and Luis Da Silva Jr.

As the on set videographer I had the great pleasure of working with this fantastic cast. And yes, it was as much fun as it looks. Pictures and video shot with the Samsung NX1.

Keep watching this site for more information and behind the scenes reveals. The movie is set to release in 2016.
