Samsung have released a 3D computer monitor: 2233RZ. 3D is increasingly being seen by manufacturers of monitors and TVs to be the new home entertainment next big thing, so expect a lot of news in this area in the near future.
Samsung 2233RZ automatically converts computer games to stereoscopic 3D. That’s automatically converts when you have the required NVIDIA graphics card, and the NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision glasses, both of which are sold separately. The glasses are an additional $300 or so.
“There are over 110 games currently available in 3D; as this number increases, the need for hardware technology to keep up becomes increasingly more important. We are continuing to prove our commitment to this category by creating a new and exciting experience that offers consumers something different,” Emmanuele Silanesu, the National Product & Marketing Manager – IT, Samsung Australia said.
