Samsung Gear VR Out In a Few Weeks

Samsung will soon ship out its Gear VR headset next month, making it one of the first of a new hype of high-profile virtual reality kits to ship to consumers.

The Gear VR Innovator Edition, a standalone version of the headset, has a price tag of $200 while a $250 version comes bundled with a Bluetooth gamepad.

A comment on IGN.com’s Facebook page notes, “The design of the Gear VR has its pros and cons. As the headset is based around the mobile, there is no need for a power cable connected to a separate computer which results in a really convenient and handy headset that you can take wherever you want to. You have to detach the front faceplate, insert the Note 4 into place, close things up, and you are good to go. However, the Gear VR itself does not have any display. The headset is dependent on Galaxy Note 4 for the screen and battery for power.

So, is the Gear VR something you are excited and been long waiting for?
