SENSIO launches US 3D VOD service

MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(Marketwired – Apr 29, 2013) – SENSIO Technologies Inc. (SENSIO) (TSX VENTURE:SIO) today announced that its long awaited 3DGO!™ service is now available to consumers. The 3DGO! application will gradually be made available to all 3DTVs supporting SENSIO® Hi-Fi 3D technology in the US with full deployment expected by June 2013. New compatible 3DTVs supporting the technology will also have access to 3DGO! from that point on.

 

The 3DGO! application is currently offered for free on VIZIO’s Smart TVs with Theatre 3D®. Content offered on 3DGO! can be rented for a period of 24 hours at a price ranging from $5.99 to $7.99 USD. Rental revenues are expected to begin in May 2013, with anticipated significant growth in the following months, driven by increased number of compatible devices, application downloads and increased usage.
