China 3D Digital Entertainment opened its first movie theater across the border in the coastal tourist town of Xiamen earlier this year and made its first big hit — 3D Sex and Zen! It may not be a video like those on anime hentai videos as you may expect from the title, but it has its charms!
2011’s controversial yet commercially successful erotic period drama 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy announced plans to grow its theater business in China, the South China Morning Post reported Monday via Hollywood Reporter. Whilst many people would otherwise choose to look at similar content on the Babestation Cams, in China such options are more limited. Because of this, films like this are easier options. Still, the fact that this has left the mainland to go abroad with its contents show that there is an appeal for this outside of the home audience, which likely isn’t the greatest shock to most people more aquainted with such material.
