3D Systems Corporation today announced the immediate availability of a new VisiJet(R) Clear print material that meets the rigorous requirements of USP Class VI for plastics. This material is designed for advanced medical and dental applications and is available only with the new ProJet 6000 professional 3D printer, further expanding the company’s extensive healthcare solutions offerings.
VisiJet Clear is a specially engineered plastic material designed for optimal transparency, performance, accuracy and stability during extended exposure to high humidity and wet conditions. The ProJet 6000 prints extremely fine feature detailed, smooth surface finish, clear and colorless VisiJet Clear parts that can be used in a wide variety of medical and dental applications from surgical drill guides, dental models and medical appliances to surgical planning models and other healthcare applications where USP Class VI compliance is required.
