Every year at NAB there are new cameras and devices of every sort.
HD, 3D, 4K, even 8K! External recorders to match everyone of the formats.
But the one thing that never gets star-studded attention is the one thing that none of these devices can do without.
The real power behind NAB is the batteries that drive every piece of equipment that we use.
Without them where would we all be? Yet batteries have not evolved all that much.
Timeline of Battery History

Until now. BLUESHAPE had introduced two new batteries and a 24V power system at NAB Show 2013.
The BV270 HD is the highest capacity camera mount battery made yet is weighs only 3 pounds. It will sustain a 12Ah draw and can surge to 15Ah without damage to camera or battery. The BV 090 is a thin (1 1/2″) battery providing 7Ah draw, saving space for light video applications. It features a sturdy, impact-resistant case with 2 P-tap outlets on the battery case.
The PowerStations can provide either 15V or 28V regulated power by integrating the power of multiple V-mount batteries. Two models are available, utilizing two or four V-mount batteries.

Definitely shake is offering. I’m in the midst of doing on camera test using the Bubble Pack 65 W power battery. I’m powering the Panasonic Z 10,000, Atomos Ninja 2 external recorders, and an LED light, as well as two USB powered devices.
So far I’m getting amazing results. What’s more is the intelligent design. The Bubble Pack acts as a base for your camera and comes with a quick release mount. The battery sits on the bottom and you’re able to keep going and handily switch out to a second battery when you need to.
