PXW-Z100 and PMW-F55 4K cameras capture superstar concert pianist Lang Lang at Royal Albert Hall

Chinese pianist Lang Lang played two sold-out concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London in November 2013. The concert was produced by Austrian arts producer Bernhard Fleischer, who created an HD quality edit for broadcast on German channel ZDF and a higher quality 4K version for Sony.

The concert was shot on five Sony PMW-F55 cameras set up for 4K live production. At the same time, camera operator Mark Zdunnek, shot a behind-the-scenes production in 4K, using the PXW-Z100 4K compact XDCAM camcorder, recording on XAVC format. The results of both productions are stunning.
