ARRI has taken the best features from its successful Alexa line of cameras and streamlined them into a “budget friendly” design which they call Alexa HD. The camera offers 14 stops of dynamic range, 10bit Log C Pro Res, and an 800 ISO Sensor. But in this world of $3,500 4K professional grade cameras, or even $35,000 Canon Cinema cameras, can you really say that $65,000 MSRP is a budget friendly offering?
