Based in Shenzhen, Protruly debuted the world’s first phone with a built in 360 VR Video recorder. Somewhat appropriately called the “Darling” the phone can shoot 360 VR in both video and stills. In playback as you move the phone you can view the different angles of the panoramic image.
Like viewing 360 videos and still son Facebook, no headset is required. The expected price point of the device is 8,800 yuan or $1299 USD. The target date for release is the end of November. A higher priced deluxe version will have the choice of gold and diamond decorations on the exterior.
Powered by a six core Helio X20 with a 2.5GHz CPU and an AMOLOED 5.5-inch display. In addition to its 360 capabilities, the Protruly Darling VR Smartphone will be able to take and store your body temp without even coming into contact with you. The settings will be store both on the phone and in the cloud.
