All of the new 3D televisions and monitors are great and beautiful, but there is nothing quite as immersive and realistic as looking at 3D images through a stereoscope. Ken was inspired to design this unit after receiving many requests at the 2012 NSA conference in California last July.
The Viewer is designed to fit the newest full-sized iPad (with Retina Display.) This new iPad Viewer enables 3D viewing with a 40 degree field of view! The Viewer incorporates high quality, prismatic, achromatic lenses that are fully coated for anti-reflection- and it shows video in perfect sync!
The resolution for each eye is 1024×1536. This unit can be hand-held but is more comfortably used when attached to a table-top tripod. We have sold and shipped the first three production models, which were all very well received so we have opened up the sales.
