David Carson, a veteran filmmaker, has announced that he will be on the Student Advisory Board of the 3D Training Institute.
The 3DTi is a program meant to educate future 3D filmmakers in the business and technology of the field. Of 3DTi Carson said, “I am very impressed with [the] program, and especially their aim to help and encourage students to balance their artistry and aspirations with the real world requirements and challenges of the entertainment industry.”
Carson has won two Emmy’s for his work on Star Trek:Deep Space Nine and Northern Exposure. Other notable work of his includes Star Trek: The Next Generation, Letters from a Killer, In His Life: The John Lennon Story and 10th Kingdom.
