Surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, Hotel Chinzanso provides a welcome oasis of calm and tranquility. In the center of the complex is the stunningly tranquil Botanical Gardens. In the midst of over 10,000 trees, you will find the history of Japan.
The three story pagoda sits in prominence overlooking the garden. The silent guardian watches over the 500 year old sacred tree, Han’nya-Ji style stone lanterns, the Koshin tower, the Shiratama Inari shrine, and the Seven Deities of Good Fortune. It is an amazing and unexpected pleasure. With the rooms you will find them spacious and well appointed.
The restaurants are an epicurean dream. We especially enjoyed the Mokushun-do Restaurant. Sitting at our table, the chef prepared our dinner at the lava stone grill. This is not a meal to be rushed thru, this is truly a sybaritic experience.
Our guest, a Tokyo native, was awed by the variety and quality of the repast. The staff is one of the friendliest, best trained, that I have ever experienced in all my travels.
Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo is true 5-star hotel.
