Yabazam is bringing two new 3D short animations from Filmakademie Baden-Wüerttemberg to its streaming 3D video service.
Birdstrike, an award-winning film written, directed and animated by Johannes Schiehsl, is about the relationship between birds and planes. Wallflower Tango, also an award-winning short, is about a woman who tangos with a notorious diamond thief. The film was directed by Wolfram Kampffmeyer. Both filmmakers completed their shorts while studying at the Filmakademie.
The Filmakademie Baden-Wüerttemberg, founded in 1991, is considered one of the most renowned international film schools. More than 300 highly qualified experts from the film and media business instruct the students and take care of their projects. The Filmakademie Baden-Wüerttemberg has also established its own Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction, as well as enhanced its international appeal through the introduction of the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris.
