From 4K to Photo: Adorama Pro Event Featuring the Canon EOS-1D C Cinema Camera

World-renowned photographer and filmmaker John Huba demonstrates the full production-to-post hybrid workflow

using the Canon EOS-1D C Cinema Camera at FREE Adorama Pro event onOctober 10th

New York, NY – September 18, 2013 – Adorama, the leading supplier of pro video, photographic and consumer electronics products, will be hosting world-renowned photographer and filmmakerJohn Huba at its free Adorama Pro event on Thursday, October 10th. Huba will demonstrate the revolutionary hybrid method of combining photo and video at this exclusive event featuring the Canon EOS-1D C Cinema Camera. The only DSLR of its kind that can shoot in 4K, Huba will film a live fashion shoot with the EOS-1D C, then import the footage into Adobe Premiere Pro. He will then extract still frames in 4K, putting the entire hybrid workflow on display from start to finish.

Hybrid shooting allows photographers to streamline their creative workflow to achieve high quality video and stills from one camera, enabling a single vision to come to fruition. Huba will be demonstrating the hybrid workflow in three different sessions during the evening event, at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm. Doors open at 4:30pm; light refreshments will be served.
