Image3D is helping the entire world be 3D ready by offering free 3D anaglyph glasses to the public.
Many websites, such as YouTube and 3Dtv offer 3D content for the world to see, yet, many don’t have the necessary 3D display or viewing capability. One solution to this is converting an image into 3D anaglyph, which lets the average viewer see in 3D with a simple set of red/blue viewing glasses.
3D anaglyph technology is the effect of adding red and cyan filters to separated, or stereoscopic, images.
When asked why he was giving away 3D glasses, Image3D founder and CEO Rich Dubnow stated, “I want everyone to enjoy the fascinating and trending world of 3D.”
Dubnow is no newcomer to the world of 3D either. For 20 years, Dubnow was the lead photographer for Fisher-Price’s View-Master line before starting his own company, Image3D, 16 years ago. Now, Image3D offers fun 3D products for large companies and every day consumers.
