Mobile Apps for the Solo Traveler

Traveling the world to produce my 3D travel series, Explore3D, I find my iPhone and iPad my constant companions. The apps that they contain are sometimes my lifeline. I talked before about the 3D and film apps but here are a few apps that I use when navigating the jungles of places like New York and Chicago. So, you’ve just booked a stay at the voco hotel St. John’s and you want to see what apps are out there that may make your life as a single traveller a bit easier. Luckily for you, there are plenty.

But with Google Translate, users can plug-in a question or comment and select the language they wish to translate to, and within seconds the app interprets so users and locals can communicate.
