Nakamichi Audio is Back

Nakamichi has always been a brand associated with extremely high quality and innovation. And cost. In the 70’s and 80’s to have a Nakamichi Tape Deck and Amp meant that you were sure to get oooh’s and ahhh’s from your friends. The “Flip Auto Reverse” was one on the first steps into automating our home entertainment devices. Like the ancient cavemen watching fire burn, people would make you keep flipping the cassette so they could watch the automated wonder.

Well, now they are back. I just received a press release from them about a new line of products that they will be available for Christmas and will be showing off at CES this year. They have also graciously offered to let me do a hands on review of some of their new audio wonders. Nakamichi will be rolling out a new line of headphones, desktop speakers, and home theater sound bars. With features that can stand up to Beats and Bose, but with a cost around one half of the other guys. So if you want the quality but can’t afford the Beats and Bose prices, then the new Nakamichi is just right for gift giving this Christmas. Heck, for that matter, maybe give yourself a gift!

3 Geek Gifts: Nakamichi Gives Beats and Bose A Run For Their Money

The holidays are here and, if you’re looking for affordable, quality audio gifts for your favorite geek, check out the new lineup from Nakamichi. That’s right; Nakamichi; the brand is back after fifteen years, and they’re competing directly with Beats and Bose, but at half the price. Here are some of the products that you’ll find in Sears and K-Mart stores across the country.
