LA-based rental house and digital cinema innovator provided main camera package for highly-anticipated action feature film, due in theaters next March
Need for Speed, the highly-anticipated action movie that recently wrapped filming, was the first major Hollywood feature to utilize the new palm-sized Novo digital cinema camera from Radiant Images.
Directed by Scott Waugh and lensed by Cinematographer Shane Hurlbut, ASC, DreamWorks’ Need for Speed is an adaptation of the popular series of video games. The fast-paced, high-octane film, starring Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), is scheduled for release next March.
Radiant Images, an LA-based rental house and digital cinema innovator, provided the main camera package during the four-month shoot in Atlanta, Detroit, Northern California and Utah. Radiant supplied the ARRI Alexa M, ARRI Alexa Plus, Optimo Angenieux lenses and its new Novo action camera.
