Relativity Media has completed securing domestic rights to “The Untitled David R. Ellis 3D Shark Thriller,” from Sierra Picutres and partner Incentive Filmed Entertainment. The studio plans to release the film – which is currently in post-production – wide in 2011. Ellis’ film focuses on a group of college friends spending a weekend at a lake house, only to be terrorized by a beast lurking in the waters. Sara Paxton, Dustin Milligan, Katharine McPhee, Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz, Joel David Moore, Donal Logue, Sinqua Walls and Chris Zylka round out the cast. The distribution agreement was negotiated on behalf of Sierra and Incentive by Nick Meyer, President and CEO of Sierra with the filmmakers being represented by Graham Taylor of WME Global.
