Lake Mary commissioners have unanimously rejected giving $400,000 in job-creation incentives to a Longwood company so that it can manufacture 3-D televisions viewable without special glasses.
The money would have been Lake Mary’s portion of an $800,000 incentive package shared with Seminole County for IZON LLC. The Longwood company said it hopes to create as many as 400 new jobs manufacturing the high-tech televisions in an old Siemens building it plans to lease off Rinehart Road.
