Sony SpectraLayers 2 & Sound Forge 11

Sony Releases New Upgrades to Sound Forge™ Pro & SpectralLayers™ Pro Audio Editing Software

With the first version of SpectraLayers, Sony broke new ground in how we view and handle audio.
In the past we viewed audio in the context of sine waves. With spectral layers audio on a whole new dimension, a third dimension, if you will.  It was nothing short of a revolutionary and became an award-winning software very quickly. With SpectraLayers you can surgically remove small individual noises or old groups of harmonics with a few simple mouse clicks.

So how do you improve on a software that does some amazing things already?
Personae the answer was simple. Create a complete round trip inter-operability with Sound Forge Pro. Sound Forge Pro is the de facto standard for a whole generation of audio producers who needed a rock-solid platform for recording, editing, processing, and rendering top-notch audio master files.

Just creating this symbiotic relationship between the two programs would’ve been enough for most other companies but not Sony. These already amazing programs have been given quite a prodigious list of improvements.
