Taiwan’s local market research team, WitsView, discovered that Korea has just surpassed Taiwan in 4K UHD TV shipments during the 2014 second quarter.
WitsView Senior Research Manager, Jeffy Chen, stated that Taiwan took a 54 percent market share in the first quarter of 2014 and 43 percent in the second quarter, while South Korea increased from 35 percent to 49 percent during the same period.
