Stereoscopic Player 2.0.1 has been available for download since the 20th February 2013. So 3D guys out there, if you have not updated yours, it’s time to do so. Updates and modifications made can be read here.
For all registered users, the updates is free of charge.
Stereoscopic Player is a versatile 3D movie player for your PC written by Peter Wimmer from 3DTV.at. It is the most used 3D player in the PC world.
Accessing to 2.0 level gave Stereoscopic Player many good reasons to stay the best 3D movie player in the world (by far): an added Windows 8 and “Quad Buffered DirectX” play mode catches up with the latest PC hardware available. A lot of other viewing methods were added too, including “Intel Stereo Driver”, “Blended”, “Picture inPicture” (for 3D verification in postproduction), as well as “Side by Side” and “Over/Under” for 3D-TVs.
