I love my Samurai’s!
Using 2 of them with my Panasonic AG G3DA1, I can record the individual right and left channel coming out of the HDSD I port on the Panasonic and with the newly released firmware Adam OS 4, it gives me a choice of recording either ProRes HQ or DNxHD at anywhere from 220Mbps to 150Mbps at either 8-bit or 10-bit 4:2:2 color sampling. The best part of all is that it uses off the shelf SSD or 2.5 ” hard drives. The results are beautiful and it puts you firmly in broadcast or film standards with your Almost any camera or DSLR.
But I’ve discovered a little secret that I’m to share with you today!
