The details of the discussion forum have now been finalized. Here’s what we have arranged for you:
3D in VR and AR: Application Challenges – Lightning Talks and Panel Discussion
As key commercial devices are being released this year the successful application of 3D in VR and AR has become a critical issue for developers and researchers. This panel of leaders in the field will discuss in depth the stereography required for VR and AR and the additional factors that developers must consider to deliver a comfortable and compelling experience. Knowledge of stereography is essential for the market uptake of VR and AR applications and anyone working in the field will find this panel’s advice indispensable.
The lightning talks will be short presentations, 20 seconds per slide, primarily images – followed by discussion.

SD&A 3D Theater
Dim the lights and get the pop-corn ready, this year’s SD&A 3D Theater program is nearly set. All of the content is in and we’re about to finalize the program. It’s always a very popular session and provides an insight into what’s been happening in the field of 3D content production from artists all around the world.

The SD&A 3D Theater session will be held 6:00 to 7:30pm on Monday 15 February in the Hilton San Francisco Union Square Hotel as part of the Stereoscopic Displays and Applications conference and Electronic Imaging Symposium.
