Yesterday, French startup LYNX officially unveiled the LYNX-R1, a standalone mixed reality headset capable of both VR as well as passthrough AR.

The enterprise-focused device features a variety of impressive features, including hand and eye-tracking as well as a bold new lens design that promises better visuals in a more compact design.

This is especially impressive considering the R1 is capable of running both VR as well as passthrough AR experiences. Powered by Qualcomm’s beastly Snapdragon XR2 chip, the R1 features a grand total of six onboard cameras responsible for the headsets passthrough AR, eye tracking, and positional tracking technology.
