Johnny Depp’s Transcendence will be released in China in stereoscopic 3D format (and in IMAX 3D too) while it is offered on the same April 18, 2014 date to US audience in 2D only.
Why? Because Beijing-based studio DMG paid for the 2D-to-3D conversion…
