Alright guys. Here we go again with the battle of “firsts”!

3DGuy team is all aware of the NEO3DO 3D Tablet which started prepping up way back last year and had its launch party recently.

Earlier this month is another glasses free 3D tablet whose name is new to our ears— Hampoo. (Please feel free to comment below if you think Hampoo was released first before NEO3DO). Chinese manufacturer Hampoo has been showing the 10.1” glasses free 3D tablet at last week’s Computex event in Taipei.

The Hampoo tablets are also compatible with the soon-to-be-released Yabazam 3D Android app, which provides the same original 3D programming available via DDD’s Yabazam content portal. Yabazam has over 80 streaming 3D movie titles for viewing on 3D consumer devices and that number is expected to grow significantly over the next year.

Chris Yewdall, Chief Executive of DDD, said: “Our TriDef 3D Mobile solution is gaining traction in the rapidly developing 3D glasses-free tablet market. We are pleased to be welcoming Hampoo as our latest licensee as it prepares to launch the world’s first 3D tablet for mass production.”

  1. Why is everyone overlooking Gadmei. I have had a Gadmei 3D tablet for about a year and I keep seeing Manufacturers claiming they are about to make the world’s first 3D tablet. Most surprising is the Neo3D which is just a rebadged Gadmei.
