Your Daily Explore 360 VR Fix: Orion Spacecraft – A 360º Video Journey

Orion Spacecraft – A 360º Video Journey
On February 1st at Kennedy Space Center, Koncept VR had the rare opportunity to film the landing of NASA’s Jumbo Jet, the “Super Guppy,” in 360. Inside the Super Guppy was the pressure vessel for the Orion spacecraft selected to carry out Exploration Mission 1 (EM-1).

A huge thank you to Lockheed Martin for giving us access to such a memorable and important moment. We look forward to continuing to follow the Orion program in 360 throughout the years to come.

I hope that you are ready for your daily fix of VR juice. Drink it up, there will be a new one tomorrow.

What is 360 VR Video?

360 video is a video that is recorded in all directions at the same time with multiple cameras. The videos are stitched together either internally in the camera or externally using special software.

It then forms one spherical video that is controlled by the viewer, enabling them to look up, down, right or left at their discretion.
