We’ve decided that our Fuji W3/W1 Auxiliary Lens Adapter (ALA) is a great candidate for the new lightweight and durable nylon material. Many of you carry your Fuji 3D camera in your Auxiliary Lens Adapter (ALA) all the time to capture a wider field of view by attaching wide-angle lenses.
We’ve seen and heard that the ALA is used so often that it gets banged around a lot resulting in small chips and cracks during its travels to all types of interesting photo shoots. The ALA is also great for adding filters and lens hoods, too!
Of course, the nylon material and processes cost more than what we’ve been using but the tough , lightweight nylon material is worth it! Also, please note that we don’t have plans to convert all of the
Cyclopital3D products to the new material.

The new nylon ALA is now listed on the Cyclopital3D website. It looks the same but is lighter weight and much more durable.
