Thai pay-TV provider TrueVisions has launched a 3D television programming package, reports The Bangkok Post. The operator is adding a 3D channel for families on top of its 50 HD programmes. Viewers need a 3D-enabled set to watch the programme via 3D glasses. TrueVisions’s first 3D programme is children animation show Cats and Dogs broadcast on the True Film HD channel. To boost the 3D market, the carrier plans to produce its own 3D content such as reality show Cultivate Dharma Wisdom Season 2. Platinum HD subscribers can watch the 3D channel for twelve months free of charge.
