Singular software has launched PluralEyes, an application that accelerates the workflow for multi-camera, multi- take and dual-system audio productions.
From a 3D perspective, it has taken the mundane job of synching clips with practically effortless automation. By analyzing audio information, PluralEyes synchronizes audio and video clips, without the need for timecode, clappers or other manual preparation. Optimized for fast performance on both Mac and PC platforms, PluralEyes supports both Vegas Pro® and Final Cut Pro.
FCP’s version an smoothly and consistently in our studio test run. The version for premiere felt like it needed further development for a smoother dualize output. The production lab at Explore media group, run by Al Caudullo, has applied PluralEyes rigorously in pre-edit stages, preparing dual clips for stereoscopic viewing.
PluralEyes for Final Cut Pro is available to purchase for $149 USD via the Singular Software website: http://www.singularsoftware.com.
Final Cut Pro users can also sample PluralEyes by downloading a fully functional 30-day free trial version from: http://www.singularsoftware.com/downloads.html.
