Nudist3D.com have revealed they are releasing the world’s first full HD, full 3D nudist film, 3D Nudist Adventure. Imaginatively titled, the name spells out exactly the nature of the film, with nature being the operative word. Marketing manager Keith Johnson said this;
“We are proud to offer the world’s first stereoscopic 3D Naturist Documentary Film, in Full-HD quality, to provide the viewer with an immersive, ‘you-are-there’ experience.”
The feeling of ‘being there’ is the key to a good 3D film, and this particular viewing experience may well be the closest many viewers get to a group of nudists hiking, doing yoga and playing in forests. If you go down to the woods today you’re sure of a big surprise, and depending on the size of your 3DTV, big surprises may well be the order of the day with this film. Johnson revealed more:
“These films provide a virtual window onto this interesting and unusual nudist lifestyle. With traditional video, you look through a window onto this culture. With Full-HD 3D, you step right through the window, into this world, Our films depict the naturist lifestyle, which in no way involves erotic or sexual activity. Some may expect something like a sex doll on the screen, but they would have to look elsewhere for these. These families and individuals have practiced naturism for many years, to enjoy the freedom and oneness with nature that the naturist lifestyle represents. Our movies perfectly capture this lifestyle, and are never explicit or erotic in nature.”
This non-erotic pledge may be at odds with some of the viewers the content may attract, given the format. Perhaps they would be better served by checking out the girls over on the Babestation live feed instead. The content is available in 5-minute downloadable clips 3D WMV-HD clips, as well as on 3D Blu-Ray, with the internet hosted content expected to attract the most viewers…
Johnson also commented on what must have been an interesting production process;
“As with most documentary filmmakers, shooting and authoring in 3D was a completely new experience for us… there was one overreaching goal throughout – providing the clearest, most natural 3D image quality for our viewers.”
The adventure looks set to begin with 3D content such as this, but it remains to be seen how many keen naturists will own 3DTV hardware, and how many 3DTV hardware owners also share a passion for nudist documentary film making. Many in the industry have accused 3D films of simply being dressed up in post-production in order to make more money, James Cameron being the most outspoken critic of 3D conversion; but being simply dressed up content is not an accusation that can be levelled at the 3D Nudist Adventure producers.
We can only imagine that the attention to detail in 3D Nudist Adventure must have been begrudgingly honoured by the post production team, but clearly there was some fun content engineered purely for the 3D format; “But of course, we have worked in some fun and funny 3D tricks that will have objects flying off the screen into the viewer’s living room.” This release will certainly cause a few blushes behind 3D glasses, and we have to admit that we’re wary about what might fly into our living rooms if the documentary ever makes in to our screens.
So hats off, and everything else, to nudist3d.com for this news. It has been said that the 3D format fleshes out some otherwise skeletal visuals, this is surely epitomised here.
