LG’s New 3D Cinema Smart TV Series Launched with Girls’ Generation

Held at the R&D Center in Seocho-dong, Seoul, the LG marked the launch of the company’s new 2013 TV line up. Official LG models, Girls’ Generation, were  present at the product launching which added to LG Cinema  3D Smart TV’s glitz and glamour.

 

“We were really able to see Girls’ Generation’s sales power. For this year, we have a TV that has can have different color borders such as red, white, silver and gold. We’ve decided to name the colors ‘Girls’ Generation Red’, ‘Girls’ Generation Silver’ and so on,” and official remarked.

 

Girls Generation has been lending their brand support for the LG Cinema 3D Smart TVs since January 2012.

 

“I sometimes watch movies with the 3D TV. Now I can’t go back to watching from a regular TV,” said member Taeyeon.

 LG said on Monday it would invest 706 billion won ($654.8 million) to manufacture next-generation displays used in televisions.

LG Display, currently the sole manufacturer of organic light emitting diode (OLED) panels used in TVs, said mass production from its new production line will begin in the first half of next year.
