“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D” is adding more names to its bill, this week signing on Tania Raymonde of LOST fame.
Director John Luessenhop is doing well to make sure that the audience will have beautiful people to look at when they go see “Massacre 3D” in October of 2012. Currently Alexandra Daddario is slated to play the lead of the slasher remake. Raymonde’s character is to be Daddario’s best friend in the film. This means that we will most definitely see her die a terrible death in the film. (Remember, horror movies leave no luck to the best friend character.)
We have written a bit about “Massacre 3D” already but here are the highlights:
“Massacre 3D” was co-written by Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan. It is not a remake of the original but a direct sequel to the 1974 original movie. In the world of remakes and sequels this is a slightly new direction that, to me, makes the entire project sound much more legit than if it were another 7th generation sequel.
