A sequel to The Dark Knight will plunge into cinemas in July 2012, again directed by Christopher Nolan.
Director Christopher Nolan will direct the said film again after bringing the Caped Crusader (Christian Bale) back to the big screen in 2005’s Batman Begins and 2008’s The Dark Knight, which earned over $US1 billion worldwide. It even garnered Australian actor Heath Ledger a posthumous Oscar for his role as The Joker.
Warner Bros has confirmed planning for the next installment of the Batman film but didn’t mention any word on Batman entering the third dimension.
No other details about the film have been announced.
