  While the software hack part will not work and GoPro has not released a firmware for using their Dual Camera System for the Hero 4, you can make it work. Use the Smart Remote and set the WiFi to control two Hero 4. The results are not 100% but as long as you aren’t trying to use this for a feature film, it can look great on your 3DTV at home.

It’s great you made those 3D kits for Hero3 and 3+.
Is there a way to use an underwater housing with you kit. I have the Hero 2 version of the 3D housing.

A question about trigger. Is it a trigger for start/stop recording ? Or a trigger to synchronized each frame ? Is there one Master camera and one slave camera ? Thanks.

  The trigger sends the signal to both Hero’s at the same time. This turns on the units and engages the script that takes control of both units, turning them on, activating record for the predetermined length of time and then finally, pausing record and then turning off.
  Unfortunately, only the Dual Camera System has the additional circuitry to do true sync. But that system only works with the Hero 3+. That system uses a Master-Slave set up.
  Our Extention Cable allows for greater seperation of the cameras, if you are using our Adjustable Superhero Rig.

Hi Al, I love that you are pushing 3D, since corporate interest has waned. For example, GoPro doesn’t say anything about 3D in their tech specs for the Hero 4. Is your rig compatible with the 4? Thanks!

  The Fixed IA rig is only 122×67. You can get any more compact unless you use a trash compactor!

Hello, I hope you don’t mind a few questions:
1. Can the rig be modified to fit under a quad copter or the like?
2. What is the weight of the lightest rig for flying?
3. Do you deliver to malaysia? If yes, how long does it take?
4. I hear a lot of problems with Hero3 integration. Do you recommend using Hero2 for your rig/cables?
5. Does the rig act as a stabilizer when hand held?
6. Do you provide free tech support and software upgrades?
